Domaine de Bonserine – Côte-Rôtie La Garde 2012

La Garde 2012 from Domaine de Bonserine was bought years ago at the Guigal sales shop on recommendation — and the patience paid off. After cellaring, the wine now opens beautifully with aromas of black cherries, ground pepper, black raspberry and roasted meat.

The fruit profile is very ripe, and the three years in barrels are fully integrated, adding depth without dominating. On the palate, the wine shows very soft tannins, smooth texture and a long, elegant finish that makes the wait worthwhile.

A refined and expressive Côte-Rôtie — absolutely worth opening. Cheers!
