Domaine Rostaing – Côte‑Rôtie Cuvée Classic 2005 shows how beautifully this “basic” cuvée can age. After 20 years, the wine still delivers depth, freshness and remarkable elegance. The color is deep ruby, and the nose opens with classic mature Côte‑Rôtie notes of roasted meat, spices, black currant and raspberries.
On the palate, the 2005 is pure finesse: ripe red fruits, silky texture, minerality still present and a long, refined finish. The balance between freshness and power is impressive, proving once again why Domaine Rostaing is one of the benchmarks of the Northern Rhône.
