Domaine Val de l'Orme Chateauneuf du Pape 2023

Domaine Val de l’Orme – Châteauneuf‑du‑Pape 2023 marks the first vintage of Jean‑Maxime and the entire team, and it’s an impressive debut. The wine shows a deep, dark color and opens with expressive aromas of red and black fruits, rosemary, ground pepper and a touch of youthful vanilla.

On the palate, the 2023 offers nice, polished tannins, freshness and a long, persistent finish. Despite its young age, the wine already shows balance, structure and a clear sense of terroir. The garrigue notes and peppery spice give it a classic Southern Rhône identity.

Beyond the Châteauneuf‑du‑Pape, the domaine’s Tavel and Lirac wines stand out with remarkable variety and quality — a pleasant surprise and a strong sign of what’s to come.
A heartfelt thanks to Fabrice Delorme for the tip two years ago — and a visit you’d happily repeat.

Cheers!
